Industry Gamers is reporting that The NPD Group is in the process of making significant changes to their IT architecture. Consequently, the release of the May sales data has been delayed into July.
April marked one of the worst declines on record for the industry, with videogame sales dropping some 26 percent. Major May releases like Red Dead Redemption are expected to help the industry recover some momentum.
