animefreak345 has been developing his latest homebrew application known as PS-Coverflow. This application is a music player that brings nice graphics to the table offering something new for the PSP. As you can see from the image above it can display your album art just in apples ipods. while it does seem plain at the moment, animfreak has promised many improvements in the next few realeses.
POSSIBLE FUTURE FEATURES:
-automatic updater — all you have to do is extract the file into the folder and it updates the app
-updaterdelete album art/songs
~maybe~ somehow edit the id3 in lua
-better coverflow
-improved graphics
-photos implemented.
-and much, much more!!
Some important issues animefreak345 has regarded are
installation:
copy all contents of the .rar archive into the game folder. it has to be in ms0:/PSP/GAME or else it will not work properly.
IMPORTANT: you must have at least on image in ms0:/PICTURE/covers/ folder to run the coverflow or else it will not work. it also MUST be in jpeg format or else it wont work.
and you must have your music under ms0:/MUSIC
It does read the id3 tags in the player.
TO GET COMPATIBLE ALBUM ART:
you may get album art images from amazon.com and search for your album of the song of you want. then save the bigger image of it, which should 240×240 in size. NOT the small thumbnails.
or you MUST have .jpg images with the size 240×240.
