A few weeks ago, Sony was asked what they thought about Microsoft’s new tactic of bagging exclusive DLC, and they mysteriously said that “nothing is ever exclusive.”
I doubt this is what they meant, though.
Turns out that the touted PS3 exclusive DLC for Mirror’s Edge isn’t so exclusive after all. Gamecyte managed to get EA on the line and confirmed that the DLC will be “downloadable content for both platforms,” according to the spokesperson.
This news isn’t exactly generous with the details though. Is it a timed exclusive? Or will both platforms have completely different DLC like what EA did for Dead Space?
At any rate, sucks for Sony.
