4Gamer.net reported today that a demo version of Valkyria Chronicles 3 is coming to the Japanese PlayStation Network on November 9th and the game’s official site on November 11th. Described as a tutorial in today’s report, the demo will be similar to the version playable at this year’s Tokyo Game Show but it will include a new mission. As an added incentive, players who complete the demo and then buy the retail version can unlock “exclusive weapons” in the full game.
Valkyria Chronicles 3 will be released in Japan on January 27, 2011. No international release has been announced yet, although both preceding installments eventually made their way overseas. For more information, make sure to read 1up’s hands-on preview from the Tokyo Game Show.
